Cyber Security Technician Apprentice

Provide high-quality technical support, advice and guidance to the staff and students Assist with the installation and testing of new software and software updates / upgrades, always ensuring compliance with software licensing regulations and security implications Regularly check network traffic for unusual activity and potential security breaches Help conduct periodic security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with school policies Assist in responding to security incidents, including documenting incidents and implementing corrective actions Help maintain and update security software, firewalls, and other protective measures Keep detailed records of security protocols, incidents, and updates to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation

Training:
Cyber security technologist (2021) Level 4 (Higher national certificate) Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
