Apprentice Technical Engineer
As an Apprentice, you will play a valuable role in various departments supporting the business in supplying our full range of Air Handling Units (AHUs) to the market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical engineering experience while working alongside a highly skilled and supportive team. You will be supported through formal training and on-the-job learning as you develop a wide range of technical and professional skills.
A predefined pathway is set for each apprenticeship allowing the apprentice to gain experience in a number of departments with the view of providing a strong foundation of knowledge preparing the apprentice for a long and successful career
This role will work in a selection of Departments included (but not limited to) in pathway:
AHU Projects - Providing total sales technical support to both clients & sales staff which includes production information, quotations, and technical assistance. Engineering & Controls - Providing support to the shop floor, purchasing, projects and sales on all projects. They provide technical support and selection advice for AHU special applications, field sales and key clients. They prepare drawings from specifications, engineering drawings for production via various software. Internal Sales - Providing AHU quotations issued to consulting engineers at design stage, as well as contractors of tender’s stage. They do this using various software available, such as Astraweb and Salesforce. The also provide full support to the salesman, customers and other departments with technical knowledge, providing training on how to use selection software.
The Engineering Technical Apprentice has pathway can be tailored if needed to better suit either the business or apprentices’ needs. This will be discussed with all potential candidates before doing so.
Training:
Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering via Engineering and manufacturing support technician Level 3 apprenticeship standard End Point Assessment
Training Outcome:
A permanent position may be available following successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm. Friday 8am - 1pm
