Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

This is a 4 year apprenticeship resulting in a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering. The first year of training will be spent at Midland Group Training Services (MGTS) in Redditch learning core practical and theoretical elements of the role. For the following years, apprentices will attend MGTS on a day release basis to complete the necessary educational requirements for the programme.

Electrical Wiring & Testing Maintaining Electrical Equipments Wiring & Testing PLC Systems Maintaining Fluid Power Systems Mechanical Maintenance MAG Welding Turning Fitting & Assembly Skills

Roles and Responsibilities;

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality product is manufactured to the correct standards Communicate with team members/ supporting departments any concerns raised Develop and implement processes and work with supporting teams on continuous improvement initiatives Participate in meetings when required to contribute with initiatives Communicate/ Contribute towards any initiatives to improve environment, operational performances, business activities, etc

Training:
Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)

Training Outcome:
