Live Event Technician Apprenticeship

You will primarily work within our Production and Hire department.As a Live Event Technician Apprentice, you will learn and work directly in the following areas:

Warehouse operations and systems including how equipment is checked in and out Equipment preparation, testing and maintenance Calculating power requirements and how to design systems Networking and infrastructure systems Logistics and calculating loads for transport How to interpret designers’ requirements and deliver shows Fault finding in equipment and systems Rigging basics

Training Outcome:

After completing a Creative Venue Technician apprenticeship, you’ll be equipped with the skills and experience to work behind the scenes in live events, theatres, and performance venues—supporting lighting, sound, stage, and technical operations to bring creative productions to life.

Employer Description:
We are a creative production house, specialising in all things lighting and visual art. We design productions, create visuals and supply productions with a vast stock of technical equipment. We provide unique industry insights, taking production to the next level.

Working Hours :
Core hours are 9 am – 6 pm, however, flexibility in working hours/pattern is required for this role. Some evening and weekend work is usual.
