Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice
Duties include:
Cleaning and tidying salon Greeting clients Making drinks Shampooing client's hair Advising clients on shampoos, conditioners and treatments Assisting and observing stylists, when a certain level of skill and understanding has been gained, the tasks will gradually increase to things like applying colours, blow drying, styling etc.We work closely with L’Oreal so each student is given extensive colour and retail training and we also offer in-house cutting and styling education. Our assessors and educators work alongside our students to provide them with an individual learning plan, to make sure they progress through their qualifications effectively and thoroughly.
Training:
Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship Standard Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals - Hairdressing Functional skills in maths and English if required Apprentices visit one of the training schools once a week
Training Outcome:
95% Of our apprentices, on completing the NVQ qualifications, stay working within Browns and move onto the salon floor in one of our salons, where they get the opportunity to carry on with their education and career

Browns Hairdressing Group was founded in 1980 by Sally Brown and swiftly gained recognition in the surrounding areas. Today there are 9 salons within the Browns Hairdressing group in Olney, Buckingham, Harpenden, Stony Stratford, Stamford and two salons in both Market Harborough & Towcester.
Working Hours :
You will be working 4 days per week with 1 day per week of training. Days will be between Monday - Saturday. Hours to be discussed at interview stage with the employer.
