2x Industrial Engineer Apprentice/2x Operational Excellence Apprentice

The key purpose of this role is to support the Resource planning department in understanding current operational performance by analysing existing processes and systems to provide a baseline. You will then work closely with all areas and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation of the operation.

Who you'll deal with :

Primarily you will work closely with qualified Industrial Engineers and Resource planners alongside the support and guidance you will also work with other functions within the business such as Operations, Operational Excellence, Logistics, and quality assurance.

What you'll be doing :

Support collection and analysing of data to understand current operational performance.  Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.  Support Resource planning department in the development and implementation of solutions to enhance productivity.  Work with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Operational Excellence, Logistics, and quality assurance, to drive continuous improvement.  Conduct time studies and process flow analysis to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.  Help design and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent processes.  Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.

Training:

Engineering and manufacturing support technician (Level 3) apprenticeship standard

Apprentices will be required to attend college at least x1 day per week either at Uxbridge, Harrow or Hayes Campus completing necessary mandatory training and units associated with the apprenticeship.

The apprentice will be required to complete:

•                Work towards gaining a full Qualification.

•                Employment Rights and Responsibilities.

•                Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours.

•                Standard and End Point Assessment.

Other training will be provided by the employer as required to enable the fulfilment of the job role.



Training Outcome:

Potential to progress within the company upon completion of your apprenticeship, working towards further qualifications such as IMS Module 1, 2a and 2b, Six Sigma Green belt, Business Improvement Techniques (BIT).
