Early Years Educator Apprentice

Greeting children and settling them in  Taking notes/instructions from parents/carers  Planning and implementing activities for the children alongside qualified staff  Day-to-day care of the children - changing nappies/supporting them with toilet training, helping them at meal times etc  Cleaning and resetting of the rooms ready for the following day  Any other duties that befit your roles or will add to your understanding of the role  

Training:

Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

Training will take place in the workplace alongside 6-weekly on-campus college activity days (college transport is available) You will also have regular workplace visits from your college instructor-mentor who will complete observations, and professional discussion and ensure you remain on-track to achieve your qualification

Training Outcome:
Potential for a permanent role, including progress to a higher level

Employer Description:
Early Years Childcare, Term time only with some holiday club days.

Working Hours :
4 days in setting per week, 7.5 hours per day. between 8.30am-5.30pm on a rota basis.
