Digital Technologies Apprentice

Provide technical support for various digital applications, including troubleshooting, configuration, and issue resolution. Assist in the rollout of new digital tools and system enhancements, including testing, documentation, user training, and support. Support digital operations and participate in digital transformation initiatives. Collaborate with internal departments to gather user requirements and optimise system performance. Document application configurations, support procedures, and operational processes. Monitor application performance, user feedback, and system metrics to identify and implement improvements. Manage user access, permissions, and data integrity across applications. Liaise with software vendors and third-party service providers when necessary. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware including PCs, laptops, telephony, Wi-Fi devices, barcode scanners, and printers. Handle and prepare data securely and accurately in line with business needs and compliance standards.

Training:

Advanced Level Apprenticeship in IT Digital Support Technician consisting of:

Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Digital Support Technician Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable) Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)

You will be required to attend a half-day session at the Training Centre per week where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that are required, alongside enhancing your IT knowledge and capabilities. Additional off the job training will also be required as part of the Apprenticeship.



Training Outcome:

After the Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to advance in the workplace or go on to higher education.
