Apprentice Medical Receptionist
Welcoming and assisting patients both face-to-face and over the phone Booking and managing appointments using clinical systems Handling patient queries and signposting appropriately Processing repeat prescription requests and incoming correspondence Supporting administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and data entry Assisting the wider team with day-to-day operational support
You will work closely with our reception and administrative teams, gaining valuable skills in customer service, healthcare administration, and team collaboration.
Training:
The apprentice will undertake the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Day-release training takes place at Burnley College
Training Outcome:
The apprentice may secure full-time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Shift pattern will vary. The opening hour of the practice are 08:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday, the practice closes every Monday between 1.00pm to 2.30pm for staff training.
