Complete an intelligence assessment on the Intelligence Data Base based on the information obtained.
Research and evaluate information received and make further enquiries to identify gaps and patterns. This will involve contacting officers within the team, the wider council and external agencies such as the police and/or members of the public.
Produce verbal, written briefings and reports for managers using the CIVICA APP database for the Head of Public Protection, line managers and the wider trading standards team on their findings. These help address the problems identified.
