Sign Studio Assistant/ Layout Draftsman apprentice

As an apprentice within these areas you will play an important role learning how to contribute to the production of print and signs and how to produce visuals and layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

Become involved in all aspects of studio production and sign drafting and CAD drawing using a computer Learn how to follow instructions and design briefs Over time, being able to produce design drawings for client approval Gain knowledge in producing sign studio graphics, digital prints and vinyl graphics for application to flat materials Set-up and processing of computer files for digital printing and the cutting of self-adhesive vinyl

Minimum Requirements:

A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning the necessary skills Good communication and the willingness to learn, listen and deal with colleagues To work as part of a team to complete learning tasks and job tasks on time A commitment and willingness to develop the skills needed A good eye for detail and some creative flair is essential

Training:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship the qualification achieved will be a Level 3 Signage Technician Apprenticeship Throughout your time as an apprentice, you will be supported by your employer and BPIF Training You will be assigned a training coordinator to ensure that you have the best training available Training requirements will be discussed at the point of employment to suit both your own and business needs

Training Outcome:
Permanent role upon successful completion
