Highways Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship
Excavate and reinstate highways by carrying out maintenance and repair tasks
Remove material within roads or adjacent areas using hand or power tools
Undertake both reactive and planned maintenance on rural and urban roads
Read, interpret, and work to drawings, specifications, and highway information
Prepare and operate powered tools or pedestrian plant machinery (rollers, mixers, compressors)
Training:
Block release at College, once a month.
Training Outcome:
Apprentices will be permanent employees at Marlborough Highways.

We work with Councils, Local Authorities and Contractors in London, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the South East, delivering pioneering multi-million-pound trials and rollouts for large programmes and phased schemes through to smaller one-off projects.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, typically 7.00am - 4.00pm.
