Early Years Apprentice

Headstart Childcare are looking for a Nursery Apprentice who have a passion to work with children and would like to undertake a level 3 qualification. To be considered for the Early Years Apprentice role you must have a love of children and a genuine warmth towards them!
As an Apprentice Nursery Educator your role will include;
•Being part of a friendly team
•Having a group of key children, responsible for planning and completing observations.
•Ensuring that the safeguarding and welfare of the children is paramount in the room at all times.
•Being aware of and complying with the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework.
•Making sure the children have a safe, fun, and great learning environment.
•Building positive relationships by engaging and interacting with the children, staff, and families
The children’s individual needs and learning styles are at the heart of our nurseries. We believe children learn best through play.



Training:

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Bright Stars will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes: • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator • Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) This will be delivered through Bright Stars' dedicated training provider, Realise.

Our Team are the most important part of our nursery and this is why we are known for providing high quality childcare in a friendly team-working atmosphere. We always promote from within first and all of our room supervisors have progressed to their roles from inside the Nursery so we can offer real career progression. We are also proud to say that our Nursery Managers and Deputy Nursery Managers also started out as Nursery Nurses with us so who knows where a job role with us can take you!.
