Horticulture Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship is designed to provide exposure to a wide variety of practical horticulture operational work environments over the period of the apprenticeship including: parks, play spaces, sports & recreation grounds, cemeteries and amenity green spaces The aim is to develop the skill, knowledge and experience base of the apprentice so they are able to support Environmental Services in any relevant work area

Training:
Level 2 Horticulture Apprenticeship Standard completed on a day release basis

Training Outcome:
The successful candidate on completion of their apprenticeship will have the opportunity to apply for any related vacancies as and when they arise

Working Hours :
For 3 weeks of the month the hours are: Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 3.30pm and Friday, 7.30am - 3.00pm. For 1 week of the month the hours are: Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 4.00pm Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
