Apprentice Site Carpenter

Assisting and learning from qualified carpenters in a variety of carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:

Studwork Cut Roofs Dormer Windows Timber Joists Cladding Joinery installation Internal and external doors Refurbishment of listed windows & doors Staircases Skirtings and architraves

Training Outcome:

Our apprentice carpenters typically go on to complete their Level 3 site carpentry apprenticeship at Kingerlee and then work for us as qualified site carpenters, with opportunities to progress to site supervisor and beyond. You may also be able to take a Level 4 apprenticeship with us, for example in site management.

Our Special Projects division is dedicated to constructing custom designed structures, large refurbishment and extensions and the meticulous repair and renovation of listed and historic buildings.

Working Hours :
7:30am – 4:30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch (Or 7:30am – 4:00pm if under 18) 42.5 hrs a week if 18 or over.
