General Manager
GENERAL MANAGER - MALDIVES
We are working with a boutique hotel in Male City, Maldives. They are looking to strengthen their team by adding a General Manager to oversee the entire operations and managemnt of the establishment including the restaurant. The GM must ensure the hotel's unique brand identity is maintained, guest experiences are exceptional, and the hotel operates efficiently and profitably. The successful applicant must be fliexible, have high energy and a great personality.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Manage daily operations across departments, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient service delivery. Hire, train, and develop staff, fostering a positive work environment and high employee satisfaction. Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize profitability. Ensure guest satisfaction, address complaints promptly, and collect feedback to improve the guest journey. Work alongside the Marketing Coordinator to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain loyal ones, collaborate with sales teams to secure events and group bookings. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements, implementing health and safety protocolsWork closey with executive managment to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the hotel's goals, including marketing, service enhancements, and operational improvements.
Ideal candidate:
Experience as a General Manager in a boutique hotel or similarAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work closely with executive managment Experience with the Maldives market preferable
Salary package: USD1600-1800 + Flights, Accommodation, Medical, Visa
