Early Years Educator Apprentice
A typical day would involve things like:
Setting up fun and engaging activities as well as clearing away and keeping the early years area clean and tidy. Interacting with the children to promote learning opportunities in their play. Helping with the children’s snacks and lunches and participating in group sessions such as math’s and phonics. Other duties include helping to plan activities, carry out observations and record them in the children’s learning journals.Training:
Support to achieve knowledge, skills and behaviours as laid out in the apprenticeship standard Support from an experienced assessor to assess work and practice Individual learning programme tailored to own needs E-learning, training and monthly tutorials specific to your apprenticeship Mentor and support in the workplace A minimum of 6 hours per week during paid time to be used for learning and development opportunities English and maths Functional Skills at Level 2 (if required) Support to achieve End Point Assessment At the end of the apprenticeship, you will obtain the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship
Training Outcome:
Following the successful completion of the apprenticeship we would be looking to employ the successful candidate full time to work in our school.
