Following appropriate policies, procedures and systems, ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children are always met. To become involved in children’s activities to stimulate and extend their learning. To demonstrate sensitivity toward children and families within the facility. Assisting in the admission and induction of new children. Assisting in the maintenance of all necessary records to meet internal, E.Y.D.C.P and Ofsted requirements. To take an active role in the promotion of excellent health and safety practices. To respond effectively to any health and safety issues that may arise and report any necessary matters. To participate in training and meetings as requested by the management team. Performing any other duties commensurate with the general nature of the position requested by the management team.

Training Outcome:

For the successful candidate, there is the possibility of ongoing employment upon completion of the relevant qualifications.

Employer Description:
From our first nursery, which opened in West Drayton in 2010, to our latest nursery, Happy Tree Academy, which opened in March 2017, our ethos remains the same “children are at the centre of all we do”. Happy Tree Academy is a purpose-built nursery, located on the premises of the Northwood Club. We cater for children aged between 3 months and 5 years. The nursery is set over two floors with two large, well-equipped playrooms, dedicated baby facilities, a safe enclosed outdoor area and our new forest school. Our meal and snack menus are balanced and nutritious, children have access to fresh fruit and water throughout the day.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 6.00pm, shifts to be confirmed.
