Training:
You will be pursuing a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard as a Paralegal, through Weston College
As part of this program, you will attend Weston College as instructed by the college
An assessor will conduct on-site observations to evaluate your progress, as well as supporting you in college throughout your apprenticeship
At the conclusion of your program, your qualification will be assessed through an End Point Assessment
Training Outcome:
Paralegal positions in the firm and possible further training towards either being a solicitor, legal executive or licenced conveyancer.
Employer Description:
Acorn Solicitors is a family firm of Solicitors with offices in Taunton and Street. They specialise in Conveyancing, Wills and Probate, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection law. The firm is 16 years old and the two partners are David Sinclair and his mother Jill Sinclair. The firm is committed to giving younger people a chance to start in the law and has had 10 previous apprentices 4 of whom still work at the firm and 3 work for other law firms as paralegals. The firm strives to improve through constant improvements and aims to create a positive working environment for everyone.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. 1 hour for lunch.
