Site Joiner Apprentice
Site based
Load and unload materials
Work alongside and under the supervision of their mentor and tasks including fitting kitchens, worktops and skirting boards
Use a wide range of hand tools
Use the appropriate tools, materials and equipment to carry out first and second fix site carpenter tasks including roofs
Carry out minor repairs or modifications
Carry out their work conforming to all current and relevant building regulations, quality standards and work instructions
Training:
Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training You’ll will study over the 24 months to gain knowledge and skills One day in college per week during term timeTraining Outcome:
Pending a successful apprenticeship, the apprentice could progress to level 3

Working Hours :
Monday at college – 9.00am - 4.15pm, Tuesday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.00pm, Friday, 7.30 - 3.00pm. Overtime may be required.
