Apprentice Technician (Heavy vehicle)

The role will include:

Assisting with repairing and maintaining all buses and coaches in line with contract, warranty and DVSA requirements to ensure roadworthiness of all vehicles Preparing vehicles for MOT test Assisting with the preparation of new vehicles for certification and customer hand over Assisting with complex repairs, both mechanical and electrical Ensuring you adhere to Health and Safety Regulations at all times Undertake all work in line with manufacturer’s recommendations Complete all relevant documentation and adhere to work instructions in line with company policies and procedures Other tasks as required

Training:
You will study towards a level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician qualification The training will be carried out on block release during the apprenticeship

Training Outcome:
Following the completion of your qualification you will have the opportunity to enter into an improver year, during which you will increase your skill set and experience You will work towards being a fully skilled vehicle technician

Working Hours :
Monday -Thursday, 8.30am - 5.00pm and Friday, 8.30am - 4.00pm
