Civil Engineer Degree Apprenticeship
We are looking for an engineering apprentice to join, and provide support to, our existing team. We undertake a wide range of projects, in a variety of sectors, so can offer a broad experience base for your apprenticeship.
Main responsibilities will initially include working alongside senior engineers providing assistance with:
To assist in the production of accurate design calculations, reports and technical engineering drawings To ensure plans, designs, reports and documentation are produced to a high standard To become familiar with and develop skills in various engineering and drawing software To print copies of drawings, correspondence and other documents including filing and archiving To attend site visits to view or inspect works to gain understanding of the construction process under the supervision of a senior member of the team To attend client meetings under the supervision of a senior member of the team Liaise and communicate with members of the project team including clients, contractors, architects and other external partiesTraining and support will be provided alongside your academic studies to enable you to successfully complete the apprenticeship and degree programme at the highest level.
Training:
IfATE Level 6 apprenticeship BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering IEng status Training will take place at the University of Exeter Streatham Campus in Exeter 2-week block release, 4 times per year

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (1-hour break), 37.5 hours per week.
