Apprentice Surface & Coatings Technician

As an apprentice, you'll receive on-the-job training in abrasive blasting, coating application, equipment handling, and site safety procedures. You'll work alongside experienced professionals and develop skills needed for long-term success in the trade. Assist with surface preparation. Learn coating application techniques using spray, brush, and roller methods. Help set up and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas. Follow health and safety procedures including use of PPE and safe handling of materials. Participate in training sessions and complete apprenticeship coursework. Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Perform general site cleanup and maintenance tasks.

Training:
Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 apprenticeship, including Maths & English functional skills (if required).

Training Outcome:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship further training/qualifications may be available such as TTP/ICATS and ICORR Level 1 for the right candidate. FLT training will also be available/required.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm (15 min morning break, 30 min lunch break).
