Apprentice Mechanic

You will assist the team in maintaining and repairing the vehicles and other equipment including fork lifts trucks, cars, LGV’s, agricultural machinery etc. You will be trained to maintain our entire group’s fleet of HGV vehicles to DVSA standard. Completion of relevant paperwork and working to tight deadlines in a busy garage environment.

Training Outcome:

On completion of the apprenticeship, we would look for the successful candidate to take a full-time role within the Garage and continue progressing within their career.

Employer Description:
Cranswick plc employ over 15000 across the UK and produce a variety of human and pet food products. The Cranswick Country Foods site in Watton, Norfolk, employs 1300 people and specialises in producing fresh pork and sausages to Tesco. Our onsite garage team of 4 are responsible for serving and repairing our fleet of HGVs, as well as agricultural machinery and other site vehicles.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 7.00am - 4:15pm. Flexibility required with finish time to complete work.
