Brick layer Apprentice

Duties will include:

Preparation of materials Preparation of site Learn and action bricklaying techniques Interpret drawings for masonry structures Using all appropriate tools, power tools, trowels, brick hammers, levels and gauges Setting out Follow health and safety procedures Brick laying and learning angles

You will be trained in all aspects of brickwork and learn about the requirements of each contract that the company works on. You will be mentored by an experienced brick worker.

Training:

You will attend Hull College 1-day a week, in addition to this you will be mentored and trained onsite by highly skilled and qualified time served brick layers. 

Training Outcome:

On completion of the apprenticeship, you can progress on to the Level 3 Craft Brick layer apprenticeship or a full-time position maybe available.
