Toolmaker Apprenticeship - Engineering
Assist in service & repair of press tools and robot welding fixtures
Work under the supervision of highly skilled toolmakers to learn to safely operate lathes, milling machines, radial drillers & surface grinders
Use precision measuring instruments like micrometre’s gauges and CMM machines
Implement tooling improvements
Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
Interface with new production tooling manager on new tooling projects
Comply with the quality and environment standards procedures and instructions
Training:
Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there will be an opportunity to become a toolmaker within the toolroom team

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.00pm and 7.30am to 12.00PM midday on Friday.
