Senior Toolmaker

Overview:
Synergi is proud to be working with a leading manufacturing company in Middlesex, currently seeking a skilled Senior Toolmaker to join their dynamic and experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a busy industrial site equipped with a wide range of machinery, where your expertise will directly contribute to the success of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture tooling as per Tool Order Requests using current design drawings. Interpret and work to BS 308 drawing standards and associated British Standards. Confidently use precision measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, slip gauges, pin/thread gauges, and shadow graphs. Carry out maintenance, repair, and improvements on mould and press tooling. Inspect and test tooling to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Adhere to all relevant work instructions and health & safety regulations. Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification. Current Abrasive Wheels Regulations certificate. Experience with laser welding (desirable). Familiarity with modern moulding and manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
