Quantity Surveyor Apprentice

Help with the measurements of quantities for materials and labour needed for our projects Assist with preparing bills of quantities Support in estimating costs for projects Help prepare and issue tender documents Assist in evaluating tender returns Learn how to manage contracts and monitor compliance Help maintain records of variations and claims Assist with preparing interim valuations for payment Help track project expenditure and assist in preparing cost reports Attend construction sites to monitor progress and check quantities Learn how to liaise and work with site management and contractors Keep project documentation organised and up to date

Training:
Construction Quantity Surveying Technician Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
Your apprenticeship will open progression through Commercial Departments from Assistant Construction Surveyor, Assistant Cost Engineer You will also be able to study for further qualifications such as L6 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship

Employer Description:
Watson are a family business, delivering affordable housing along with private sale and build to rent developments across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and High Peak.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 5.00pm and Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pm. You'll be based out of our Salford office and will travel to construction sites from time to time as required.
