Civil Engineer Technician Apprentice
Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
Use CAD software to create technical drawings and models.
Support site surveys, inspections, and project management tasks.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients.
Your role will also involve conducting site surveys and inspections, ensuring that projects comply with regulations and safety standards. You will work with contractors and engineers to support project delivery, using industry software such as CAD and BIM to contribute to design work. This apprenticeship provides valuable practical experience, professional development, and a strong foundation for a successful career in civil engineering.
Training:
This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Construction Campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only.
You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.
You will experience a blended learning model.
Training Outcome:
Potential opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Millward are responsible for the design of the civil and structural engineering elements. Foundations, steel frames, drainage design and highways. Our engineers are responsible for the design and our technicians produce the technical drawings in both 2D and 3D which are then used on sites to build to.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00.
