Software Testing Apprentice

As an Apprentice Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring our software meets the highest standards of reliability and performance. You will gain practical experience in:

Participate in the quality assurance stage of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment Conduct both manual and automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and free from any bugs before it reaches end-users Collaborate with cross-functional teams to log defects, provide regular updates, and drive continuous improvement Develop an understanding of the software development lifecycle, mastering techniques to analyse requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and execute a diverse array of test scenarios Translate complex technical information into actionable insights, effectively reporting on test progress and defects to drive continuous improvement

This is a hybrid role, working from our Sheffield office at least 2 days per week.

Software Tester Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard
