Training & Events Apprentice

As a Training & Events Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of funded education programmes. A typical day may include:

Coordinating communications - liaise with training providers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to share updates, respond to queries, and ensure smooth programme delivery. Managing data and records - input and maintain accurate data in databases, prepare reports and spreadsheets, and assist with processing invoices and budget tracking. Supporting events and programmes - help plan and deliver training events, prepare materials and packs, and ensure logistics are in place for successful execution.

You’ll also be expected to communicate professionally, work independently across the county, and uphold safeguarding and equality standards.

Training:

As a Training & Events Apprentice, you’ll follow a structured schedule combining hands-on work with study towards a Level 4 Improvement Practitioner qualification. You’ll gain experience supporting education programmes while completing online learning, attending workshops, and receiving regular mentoring to develop your skills and track progress.

Training Outcome:

Although there are no guarantees that there will be any vacancies within the Education & Skill service, completion of this apprenticeship would place the successful applicant in a better position in any suitable recruitment that may take place, at the end of the programme.
