Childcare Apprenticeship

Do you have the ability to read a ten-page fairy tale, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page? Can you pretend to eat playdough creations realistically and drink numerous cups of pretend tea? Can you distribute warm hugs as required? The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, but to enjoy singing is a must! Do you have a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special? Do you have the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people? This is of the utmost importance! Are you prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace? Laughter is something you can expect to engage in for a large part of your working day! Finally, are you prepared to feel loved, special and important to many of our little people?

Your role will include:

Providing a safe and enabling environment Teaching children to learn and develop Safeguarding the children in your care Acting in a professional manner in the workplace

Training:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Day release into Cannock or Tamworth campus during term-time only

Training Outcome:

Potential for a full-time position.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday including day release to college (Full year round). Times to be confirmed.
