Apprentice Commis Chef
As a Commis Chef your role will include:
Preparing and cooking food items from fresh Implementing hygiene health and safety and food safety procedures Following business practice for stock control Efficient handling of specialist kitchen tools and electrical equipment Maintaining a clean, tidy kitchen at all timesTraining:
Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship Standard Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested
Training Outcome:
For the right person there may well be the opportunity to take on a full time role on completion of the apprenticeship
