Admin Assistant Apprentice
Provide direct support to the Director in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment within the engineering/construction sector
Maintain control and organisation of administrative tasks, ensuring consistent workflow
Communicate regularly with subcontractors and suppliers, handling calls and coordinating updates
Manage and update Excel spreadsheets and Word documents critical to project tracking and reporting
Design and maintain a systematic digital filing system for contracts, reports, and documentation
Ensure all documents are accurately filed, accessible, and up to date
Support scheduling, meetings, and task prioritisation as needed
Training:
Business Admin Level 3
One monthly class at college, online or workplace

Training Outcome:
Potential full time role.
Employer Description:
Structural steel specialists, design and build all in house. Business established in 1937, making £15M turnover, and completed over 10,000 projects.
Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4:45pm. Friday, 7.00am to 3:30pm (45 mins unpaid lunch - 39.75 hours per week).
