Software Tester

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a mix of manual and automated testing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and refine testing strategies that meet stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Define and continuously improve software testing processes aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards

Plan, execute, and document both manual and automated tests to validate product functionality, performance, and security

Collaborate with development teams to ensure full alignment with software requirements and specifications

Lead test management activities including test planning, monitoring, and issue tracking

Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery

Convert existing manual test cases into automated tests using selected tools and frameworks

Participate in the design and development of test automation infrastructure for use in software development and release cycles

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level and/or Test Manager preferred)

Strong knowledge of data communication and network protocols

Proficiency in software testing methodologies and system testing techniques

Solid experience with requirement-driven design and validation processes

Experience in testing UMTS or LTE Radio Technologies is highly desirable

Skilled in writing and maintaining technical documentation

Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, TTCN, Bash, etc.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially in embedded systems

Structured, detail-oriented approach to work with excellent analytical skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
