CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Night Shift Fabric Engineer to join a dedicated on-site team at a large-scale commercial campus in Whitechapel. This is a rare opportunity to work directly for the client in a permanent position, offering a highly competitive salary of £49,000 (inclusive of shift allowance) and a premium benefits package.

If you’re a multi-skilled, hands-on engineer with proven experience in commercial building maintenance—and you're comfortable working night shifts—this could be your ideal next move.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out general fabric repairs across the campus

Painting, decorating, and touch-up work

Minor carpentry – fixing doors, locks, and furniture

Hanging shelves, whiteboards, pictures, blinds, etc.

Basic lighting checks and minor replacements

Porterage – furniture moves and room setups

Supporting PPMs, tap temperature checks, flushing, and fire alarm testing

Maintaining and updating compliance logbooks

Escorting and overseeing sub-contractors during works

🌙 Shift Pattern:4 on, 4 off (nights)

Hours: 19:00 – 07:00

💼 What’s On Offer:Salary: £49,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)
