Salon Assistant Apprentice

Maintaining a safe, healthy, and clean environment. Support Senior team with online booking system. Assisting senior colleagues to deliver salon services. Engaging positively with clients and promoting a positive image of yourself in the salon. Greeting and gowning clients in readiness for hairdressing services. Carrying out shampooing, conditioning, treatments, removing colours, neutralising perms, and any other tasks deemed suitable under supervision., if required. Making and serving refreshments for clients. Ensuring the salon is clean and tidy at the end of the day. Commitment to training by attending all training sessions, assessments, and reviews.

Training:
Working towards completing Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship Standard. Work based learning with attendance at Hertford Regional College Ware campus once per week to achieve VTCT Skills Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing).

Training Outcome:

There will be opportunities for progression and a permanent position subject to performance.

Working Hours :
Monday – College, 9.00am - 4.30pm. Tuesday - OFF. Wednesday, 10.00am - 6.00pm. Thursday, 10.00am - 8.00pm. Friday – 10am – 6pm Saturday - *9am – 6pm
