Sports Coach Apprentice

Joining us, you will provide high-quality one-to-one coaching and group support, using your energy and enthusiasm to encourage children to take up the fun and enrichment of sport. This role is perfect if you are looking to grow your experience in a Primary School setting. Your key responsibilities:

Lead, support and coordinate the delivery of sports coaching sessions in Primary Schools and Holiday Camps. Deliver sessions in a variety of school settings, ensuring full integration into class activities. Reinforce learning and behaviour routines while providing a fun and safe learning environment. Provide excellent customer service to both schools and parents.

Training:

This hands-on apprenticeship is perfect for anyone passionate about getting children active. You will develop the skills to plan, deliver and evaluate physical activity programmes that engage and inspire primary age children. Whether you're working in schools, holiday clubs, or community settings, this programme builds real confidence in coaching, communication, and promoting healthy lifestyles. What learners will gain: Practical coaching and session delivery experience, Knowledge of behaviour change and community engagement. Skills to promote health, wellbeing and inclusion through sport. Experience planning and leading events, clubs and activities. Understanding of safeguarding and working with different groups
