Painting and Decorating Apprentice

Adhering to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace Cut in and paint to a very high standard Preparing surfaces by sanding down, priming, mist coat and undercoat Painting walls, ceilings, skirting boards. Applying layers of paint to different surfaces i.e. plasterboard, timber, metal and hanging wallpaper Glossing woodwork, skirting boards, bannisters, doors

Training:
Painter and Decorator Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard You will be working with your employer 4 days per week and attending Walsall Colleges Green Lane campus 1 day per week

Training Outcome:
A full time position will be offered upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
