Apprentice Early Years Educator - Ash Croft Primary Academy
Establish rapport and respectful, trusting relationships with children, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs
Following appropriate training and in line with school procedures, to administer basic first aid and/or medication as required
Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children by encouraging them to interact with each other and to engage in activities
To understand the importance of inclusion, equality and diversity, both when working with children and with colleagues, and to promote equal opportunities for all
To attend and participate in relevant meetings as appropriate
Being responsible for supporting child initiated and adult led activities based around the needs and interests of each individual child
Supporting the observation and assessment of the children
Working as part of a team to ensure each child feels safe and secure
Working in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals
Having a duty of care and following relevant safeguarding procedures
Training Outcome:
Teaching Assistant within the Trust or with another organisation
