Future Stylist Apprentice

As a GOLSON Apprentice, you’ll be part of a vibrant, supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional client experiences while helping you grow into a confident, skilled professional. This apprenticeship offers hands-on learning across three key areas: Client Experience, Training & Development, and Salon Operations. From the moment a guest walks through the door, you’ll help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You’ll support the front-of-house team by greeting clients, managing enquiries, and preparing the salon space. You’ll also build confidence in holding friendly, professional conversations and recommending haircare products, always reflecting the GOLSON standard of care. You’ll play a key role in keeping the salon running smoothly. This includes assisting stylists with services like colour application, rinsing, and blow-drying (under supervision), maintaining cleanliness, and following health and safety procedures. You’ll also stay up to date with the latest trends.

Training:

You’ll take part in regular in-salon training, complete project work, and meet learning milestones. Through observation and hands-on practice — including working on models and training heads — you’ll develop your technical skills and professional presence. You’ll be supported every step of the way as you grow into your role. Day release to Milton Keynes College.
