Apprentice Engineering Operative
Assist with fabrication and assembly of trailer frames, panels and structures using hand and power tools
Learn to install internal fixtures and fittings including counters,sinks , gas and electrical systems under supervision
Support the cutting, drilling and fitting of materials such as metal sheeting, wood and insulation
Prepare materials and work areas according to production schedules
Following Engineering drawings , layout plans and verbal instructions accurately
Carry out quality checks and report defects or issues to team leads
Training:
You will be pursuing a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard as Engineering Operative, through Weston College
As part of this program, you will attend Weston College as instructed, for workshops
An assessor will conduct on-site observations to evaluate your progress, as well as supporting you in college throughout your apprenticeship
At the conclusion of your programme, your qualification will be assessed through an Apprenticeship Assessment
Training Outcome:
Opportunity to move into a Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship or full-time engineering role upon successful completion.

Working Hours :
4 days a week, 9.00am - 4:30pm. 30 minute lunch break.
