The Role: Maintenance Manager – Luxury Country Hotel and Resort

Location: East Sussex

Salary: Up to £38,000

We are on the look out for a well organised Maintenance Manager for a luxury hotel & resort in East Sussex. As Maintenance Manager you will oversee all H&S, maintenance, inspections and project management.

About the position:

Understand the H&S legislation including the use of Risk AssessmentsBudgeting and cost planningOversee the management of the departmentPerform daily checks within the hotel and the groundsManage the Maintenance Team rotaTrain and develop the teamLook after the maintenance of all the fixture and fittingsResponsible for overall planning, monitoring, and control of maintenance of the properties

Skills and Responsibilities:

A professional qualification in facilities management or relevant experience would be preferred A qualification in health & safety Significant relevant experience in similar roles and environmentsWorking knowledge of general equipment functioning Problem solving abilityPrevious hotel or facilities management experience is necessaryGood communication skills at all levels
