Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentice

Maintenance of tools and the workshop  Routine servicing and inspection procedures  Steering and suspension geometries; electrical circuit requirements and calculations  Diagnose faults using suitable fault-finding strategies Interpret diagnostic information  Test the function of repaired and fitted components  Construction and operation of advanced electrical, braking and suspension systems, engine and transmission systems and engine and gear calculations  Report faults using company procedures  Test the function of repaired and fitted components  

Training:
One day per week at Dover College

Training Outcome:
Potential full time position

Working Hours :
Opening hours are 08:00 to 17:30 and every other Saturday 08:00 to 14:00. Shifts to be confirmed.
