Property Maintenance Operative Apprentice

Preparation of work areas and maintenance of safe working environment. You will assist our engineers to carry out a variety of tasks in tenanted and void properties, which will include plumbing, plastering, decorating, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling, basic carpentry, and garden work. Rubbish removal of work areas and filling of skips. You will become adept at carrying out general property maintenance and carrying out basic repairs independently. You will need to become accustomed to receiving work via an app and logging job notes accordingly.

Training:

You will be with the employer 4 days per week and will need to attend Walsall Colleges Green Lane campus 1 day per week. 

Training Outcome:

There is potential of a full time position after completion of the apprenticeship.
