Hairdressing Apprentice

Meeting and greeting, answering the phone, booking appointments. Offering clients refreshments and magazines. Shampooing, scalp massage, conditioning treatments, removing colour/foils, rough drying, neutralising perms, straightening, smoothing treatments. General tidying of salon & laundry.

Training:

Working towards completing Level 2 Hairdressing Professional Apprenticeship Standard. Work based learning with attendance at Hertford Regional College Ware campus one day per week to achieve VTCT Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing). Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

Training Outcome:

There will be opportunities for progression and a permanent position subject to performance.

Working Hours :
Monday – College Tuesday – Day off Wednesday – 9am -5.30pm (Arrive 8.45am) Thursday – 9am -5.30pm/7.30pm (Arrive 8.45am) Friday – 9am -5.30pm (Arrive 8.45am) Saturday – Flexible hours (Arrive 8.15am) to start 8.30am -5.30pm TBC
