Hairdressing Apprenticeship

You will be learning and supporting in the salon, receiving training weekly and working towards your apprenticeship, helping with the day-to-day running of the salon, learning the skills needed to become a stylist.

Duties: 

Maintaining health and safety in the salon Keeping tidy Reception work Shampooing and conditioning Mixing, and applying colours Block work, blow dries Assisting and shadowing stylists

Training:

You will work towards your Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeship Standard: Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing), weekly in-house training.

Receiving regular visits from your tutor throughout the apprenticeship.

Training Outcome:

Become a fully qualified stylist, progressing to Level 3 and Management. 

The qualifications and experience gained upon successful completion of this apprenticeship will allow you to apply for further roles within this sector.

The Dollshouse is a friendly hair and beauty salon in Central Milton Keynes, a short walk from the Hub and All Bar One. Our trained and qualified stylists cater to all hair types and textures, and specialise in hair extensions, colour corrections, sombre, ombré and balayage. Our prices are inclusive of fitting cut, blend and style. Our knowledgeable and friendly team cater are on hand to provide professional consultations and advice on all aspects of hair.

Working Hours :
Tuesday - Saturday , 4 days with one day off in week. Times TBC.
