Sports Coach Apprentice

You will be working across a network of schools and nurseries, supporting the delivery of high-quality PE lessons, before and after-school clubs, lunchtime activities, and holiday
clubs The role will allow you to develop your skills in planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities

During term time, you will be placed in a number of school and nursery settings (based on a weekly timetable) where your responsibilities will include:

Leading lunchtime sports activities Assisting lead coaches during PE lessons Planning and delivering your own sessions during after-school clubs During school holidays, you will be based at one of our holiday camps, delivering a fun and diverse programme of sports and creative activities to groups of children

Training:

Sports Coach Level 4.

The training will take place in the workplace and also online with bi-weekly webinar sessions being conducted by your tutor.

Training Outcome:

Full-time employment as PE and sports coach with ourselves, a school directly, further education, community-based organisation.

Working Hours :
School term time: You will be working Monday to Friday at a variety of different primary schools and nurseries. School holidays: You will work on a sports camp. Shift times to be confirmed at interview
