Nursery Practitioner Apprentice
Duties will include:
You will be required to be part of the child-to-adult ratio (as required by Ofsted) There will be an element of housekeeping duties that are required for the children's care E-learning courses will be set up to further the knowledge of the learner To support the day-to-day responsibility for efficiently running the setting facility To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children To encourage the children to maintain and develop their own individuality and independenceTraining:
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The Early Years apprenticeship prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.
This qualification is structured around the following four themes:
Health and well-being Legislation, frameworks and professional practice Play, development and learning for school readiness Professional development You will also complete a Paediatric first-aid qualification, and Functional Skills in maths and English if required The training will take place within the educational setting with no day release required to college and you will have regular reviews with your tutor every 4 - 6 weeksApprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level before taking the end-point assessment.
Training Outcome:
An offer of a permanent position on completion of the course and opportunities to continue with professional development.

Our nursery’s curriculum covers all aspects of learning through play to encourage physical, intellectual, emotional, social and language development. Our qualified staff are well trained and have many years of experience in childcare. We gained an overall judgement of 'Good' in our last Ofsted inspection. The pre-school offers both full and sessional daycare to children aged between 0 - 8 years
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday: 8.00am - 4.30pm (breaks to be confirmed). TTO (pro rata salary).
