Bricklaying Apprentice

Setting out work areas and planning material requirements Mixing mortar by hand or using a cement mixer Ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for laying bricks or blocks Spreading mortar evenly Laying bricks, blocks, or stone in the correct position Ensuring rows are level, plumb, and properly aligned using a spirit level or laser Cutting bricks to fit corners, edges, or around openings using hand tools or power saws Ensuring worksite is tidy and tools are maintained

Training:

Bricklayer Level 2.

Training will take place on-site with an employer and 4-days a month within the training centre with your training provider.

Self-employed subcontractor Full-time employee Start your own business
